Lipstick Litter: Procedure

1. Classify each lip print as belonging to one or more of the pattern types.

2. Compare the evidence with the lip prints of each of the suspects.
Can you determine who may be the guilty party?

3. Try making your own lip print.

• Use a cotton swab to apply lipstick to your lips.
• Carefully blot them on a piece of paper folded in half.
