When he is not at CMU, Kristian frequently partners with Pittsburgh performing arts organizations, including Resonance Works, Chatham Baroque, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, and WQED FM, to create audio recordings that reflect the beauty, creativity, and talent of the city's robust music scene. Kristian also often works with organizations like Pittsburgh Opera as a multi-disciplinary audio consultant and live mixer.
In addition to technical audio and recording, Kristian also has a deep-rooted passion for creating music and sound through synthesizers. From time to time, Kristian offers synthesizer workshops at CMU and lends his expertise by beta-testing new and upcoming modules at Pittsburgh Modular.
Kristian is an alumnus of CMU's School of Music (BFA in Music and Sound for Media) and the Entertainment Technology Center (Master of Entertainment Technology).
