Bio

Renée Govanucci is the Sr. Administrative Assistant to the Head of the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. She is a veteran arts administrator with over 30 years of experience in non-profit performing arts. Throughout her career, especially during her time at MCG Jazz, a division of Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, Renée has taken on leadership positions in small and mid-sized arts organizations and live performance venue and touring management. She is dedicated to music education and finds fulfillment in guiding aspiring arts administrators through mentorship. In joining the School of Music, Renée is demonstrating her dedication to helping music educators and students thrive. Renée has her BFA in arts management from Point Park University.
