Bio

Krishna Raman is a student finishing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance at Carnegie Mellon University and a candidate for the Dalcroze Eurhythmics Certificate. With aspirations to teach at the collegiate level, he hopes to use the knowledge he has learned through Eurhythmics to help performers achieve a greater level of musicality and artistry while spreading the work to more institutions. He also wishes to combine his Dalcroze training with his Indian heritage. Krishna's first musical experience was with Carnatic music through the singing lessons he received from a young age. His mother also teaches Bharatanatyam, a style of Indian classical dance. Krishna is interested in running movement workshops for Bharatanatyam dancers that would aid them in their performances.
