Music Entrepreneurship Requirements

In the School of Music online application, applicants must submit the following requirements for review by the Music Entrepreneurship faculty (these materials can be uploaded to the School of Music online application):

  • Brief statement of intent (What do you hope to gain during this year of study?  What experience do you wish to gain?  What skills would you hope to learn?)
  • Description and documentation of past projects (uploaded or links provided)
  • The AMS in Music Entrepreneurship program is designed for you to work on your business so that you can work in your business when you leave school. Based on your career goals, describe 1 or 2 project ideas that you would like to pursue over the course of your AMS year.
  • List of qualifications and experiences that support proposed initiatives 
  • Applicants should choose three (3) recommenders who can support their academic ability and promise as a music entrepreneur 

LIVE VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS:

Applicants who are invited for an interview should be prepared to discuss their initiatives and statement of intent with faculty members.
