Introduction to Stem Cells
These materials provide an introduction to stem cells. The materials are designed to be used by individuals or by teachers in a classroom setting.Slides are available as a ppt file and as a pdf file. Note that the ppt file is large so it will download when you click on it. You can explore the pdf version online prior to downloading the larger file.
The Instructor Reference and Slide Guide provides a script and links that can be used to learn more about the topics that are featured. There is also a Vocabulary Worksheet that can be completed students as they listen to the presentation. Finally, a Charades Card Game was created as a fun way to learn about stem cells.
