Bio
Lauren Savage is an education professional currently serving as Director of Recruitment and Enrollment for the School of Music at Carnegie Mellon University, where she leads recruitment strategy and enrollment efforts for prospective music students.
Lauren brings over seven years of experience in college admissions, educational counseling, and teaching to the role. Previously, Lauren served as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Carnegie Mellon University where she coordinated recruitment strategy, delivered information sessions to prospective students nationwide, and led admitted-student programming. As Senior Manager of Educational Counseling at Bright Horizons College Coach, Lauren guided students through the college admissions process - from high school planning through college research and essay development. Lauren's foundation in education dates back to teaching roles in the Pittsburgh Public School District and Fox Chapel School District where she taught high school social studies. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Social Studies Education and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
