Bio

Seul Lee is a collaborative pianist, chamber musician, and educator whose musical background spans piano performance, collaborative piano, and music education.

She currently serves as a Collaborative Pianist at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Music, where she works closely with the violin and woodwind studios.

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Seul received her early musical training at Sunhwa Arts High School before earning a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Ewha Womans University. She later earned a master’s degree in Music Education from Ewha Womans University. Following her graduate studies, Seul was selected through South Korea’s national public school teacher appointment examination and served as a music teacher in Seoul for three years.

In 2020, Seul moved to the United States and pursued advanced musical training at Carnegie Mellon University. She first completed the Advanced Music Studies (AMS) program and subsequently earned a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from Carnegie Mellon’s School of Music. In 2026, she was inducted into Carnegie Mellon’s Theta Xi Chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda, the National Music Honor Society, in recognition of her musical and academic achievement.

As a collaborative pianist and chamber musician, Seul has performed with instrumentalists and vocalists across a wide range of settings. Her chamber music experience includes a prize-winning performance in the Carnegie Mellon School of Music Chamber Music Competition. She continues to collaborate with musicians in the Pittsburgh area while developing her work as a chamber musician and collaborative pianist.
