Schmidt Vocal Arts Announces Winners of Undergraduate Awards 2025

This year, Schmidt Vocal Arts (SVA) hosted its annual Undergraduate Awards, recognizing outstanding undergraduate vocalists from across the country. The Carnegie Mellon University School of Music is proud to celebrate soprano Sara Porjosh, who was named a finalist in the Lower Division for Undergraduate freshmen and sophomores.

Participants were required to present two contrasting pieces from different periods of classical vocal repertoire. Winners and finalists received cash prizes, as well as national recognition from Schmidt Vocal Arts.
