The Mellon College of Science Summer Scholarship Program allows Carnegie Mellon University students the unique opportunity to develop their scientific interests and gain valuable research experience with dedicated faculty and graduate students. Our goal is to offer these exceptional young people the chance to focus on their continued studies without additional financial burden to themselves or their parents.

The Summer Scholarship Program affords these students, selected from a higly-competitive pool of applicants, funds to cover their living expenses for eight weeks between Spring and Fall semesters.
