Bio

Following a Master Degree in Molecular and Supramolecular Chemistry, Antoine realized a PhD on coordination polymers at the University of Strasbourg in France. His research was focused on the design and synthesis of ligands for the formation of well-defined supramolecular polymeric materials named coordination polymers, metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and mixed metal organic frameworks (M’MOFs).

Since 2015, he joined the Matyjaszewski Polymer Group and managed projects on the fabrication of well-defined organic polymers by free radical polymerization (FRP) and by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). His research has focused on the development of new polymeric materials as structurally tailored and engineered macromolecular (STEM) gels. These materials are a new class of polymer gels and resins whose properties can be tuned on demand. He is also leading projects on stackable gels, polymeric actuators, degradable gels and on the modification of bio-based polymers.
