Happy last day of classes, Tartans! We know you're all hard at work finishing the semester and prepping for finals, so we've pulled together some events to help you de-stress and focus. The Originals Farewell Benefit Concert

Celebrate the last day of classes with donuts and music! On Friday, April 26, at 9 p.m., celebrate your hard work this semester and the group's 28 years of history. Featuring Soundbytes and Saans, they'll perform A Cappella and solo performances, give out Pittsburgh's infamous Oakmont Bakery donuts, donate money to a charity TBD, and stay late for bingo to give out exclusive Originals merch! Tickets are $3 for CMU students and $5 for all others. Learn more about getting tickets.

Late Night Boba + Bento

Take a break! On Wednesday, May 1, from 9 to 11 p.m., take a break from finals and check out the first-ever Late Night Boba + Bento event in Egg Shoppe! Swipe into the event, and you'll receive a bento box filled with your choice of dim sum, sushi, and more. Don't forget to add a boba! This event is open to faculty, students, and staff and costs one late-night meal block, or $11.25. Boba is available for an add-on price. Learn more about this event.

Meeting of the Minds 2024

On Wednesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., check out the Undergraduate Research Symposium or the "Meeting of the Minds." This university-wide celebration of undergraduate research highlights students from all disciplines who come together to present their research with posters, oral presentations, demonstrations, art exhibits and performances. Support your fellow Tartans and check out some cool research happening here! Learn more about the presentations.

Pittsburgh Steelers Draft Party

Here we go! On Saturday, April 27, from 12 to 5 p.m., join fellow Pittsburghers for the Steelers' annual Draft Party! You won't want to miss watching the NFL Draft live from Acrisure Stadium with other members of Steelers Nation! Experience on-field activities, locker room tours, Steelers Legends, giveaways, and more. As a Draft Party bonus, Cam Heyward will live broadcast his "Not Just Football" podcast with a group of special guests. Learn more about this event.

JFilm Festival

Lights, camera, action! From May 2 to 12, check out the JFilm Festival, Pittsburgh’s largest Jewish cultural event. Films will be available both in person and online, so you get the best of both worlds! The festival will showcase exciting and thought-provoking independent feature films from around the world that you won’t see anywhere else. They’ll also host their exclusive Film Schmooze discussions, where they'll chat about some of the films in-depth. Learn more about this event.

Professional Ultimate Frisbee Games

Play on! On Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m., check out the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds' opening match of the 2024 season. Ultimate is a fun, fast-paced, exciting sport that combines rules and playing styles from many of the most popular competitive sports. Ultimate is played in many formats around the world at all competitive levels. Can’t make opening day? No problem, the season is just getting started! Get the season schedule and purchase tickets.
