Tartans got a high score on their Spring Carnival experience.
Carnegie Mellon University celebrated Spring Carnival with an "Arcade" theme, giving homage to video games and other arcade attractions. The Mellon College of Science and the Carnegie Mellon community went on side quests to enjoy events like Douse-a-Dean (which supports Special Olympics of Pennsylvania), Booth, Buggy, social events and the Richard King Mellon Hall of Sciences groundbreaking. The 2023 class of Tartans on the Rise honorees leveled up as they were recognized by the community. Mellon College of Science Dean Curtis Meyer dressed up as Albus Dumbledore, an homage to the MCS Ball Wizarding World theme.
