President’s Advisory Board on Student Well-Being, Mental Health and the Academic Experience

The President’s Advisory Board on Student Well-Being, Mental Health and the Academic Experience was convened in Fall 2025 to examine and recommend strategies for integrating Carnegie Mellon’s services, resources, and support structures to enhance the holistic student experience. A key focus is understanding how the academic experience intersects with mental health and overall well-being—identifying opportunities to strengthen coordination, reduce barriers, and empower the university community to promote a culture of care, connection, and student success.
