Community Service
Working with Dress for Success to provide handwritten notes that they are able to share with women getting ready for interviews and other life events has become an annual tradition.
Cooking Demonstrations
Partnering with Chartwells, we have curated unique events to gather our members while also being able to learn new cooking skills! Our charcuterie building class was popular, and everyone got to take back with them their own, personal charcuterie plate.
Lunch & Learns
We tap into expertise across campus, including from among our membership, for engaging workshops and presentations over the lunch hour. Past topics have included self-defense, productivity and mindfulness, financial planning, nutrition, women's health, supporting the LGBTQ+ community and communicating with power.
BTS Tours of CFA Theater Productions
Now an annual tradition, CMWA is invited to go behind the scenes of the spring production. This past year, the CMWA was able to tour the set, costume design and other aspects of Titanic.
Fall Reception
This much-loved annual event kicks off the fall semester and supports the CMWA membership drive for past, current and new members of CMWA.
Mentorship
The CMWA offers two mentorship opportunities for its members: Barbara Smith Women's Mentoring Program and Mentorship for Enrichment.
