Spring 2018 Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Sessions

If you are planning to apply for CPT authorization for the summer, it is mandatory that you attend and submit your CPT application at one of the following CPT sessions with the Office of International Education (OIE). Please understand that we are unable to schedule individual advising appointments to provide this information or accept CPT applications outside of the CPT sessions, so we suggest planning ahead to find a session that will fit your schedule.

Students in J-1 status who are expecting to complete their program this semester should read the Academic Training (pdf) handout and schedule an appointment with their J-1 Alternate Responsible Officer (an OIE advisor if CMU issued your DS-2019).
