Whether you're planning to watch the Superbowl this weekend or take advantage of the warmer weather and get outside, we have an event for you. Tips to Protect Yourself From Scams

Heads up, Tartans! As many students seek opportunities for summer employment, be on the alert for possible scams. Check out our most recent news article for tips on how to spot a scam and what to do if you are ever the victim of one. Stay safe out there, Tartans.

Starting Feb. 15, check out this dark sci-fi comedy that explores how far we might go in the pursuit of societal acceptance before we lose our humanity. Come support your fellow Tartans with this production of Bable. Reserve your tickets in advance.

The Big Game Party

The Pittsburgh Steelers might not be in the Superbowl this year, but that doesn’t mean people across the city aren’t excited to watch the big game on Sunday. Whether you’re new to American football and want to know what everyone’s talking about, or you got invited to a Superbowl watch party and want to brush up on the game, check out this video. This year, check out the Big Game party to get you ready for Sunday night's big game. Join your fellow Tartans today, Friday, Feb. 10, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., with all-you-care-to-eat wings and some favorite game-day snacks. It's a chance to hang out with friends and enjoy games, music, and giveaways. This event is open to grad and undergrad students, staff, and faculty. Learn more about this event.

Mini-Carnival 2023

Spring is in the air, and so is Carnival! On Monday, Feb. 13, from 4 to 6 p.m., get excited for the main event later this spring. With carnival-like activities and delicious treats, this Mini-Carnival will give you a taste of all the fun things to come this semester! Plus, you can learn about some of the main Spring Carnival affiliated organizations such as Buggy, Booth, Scotch'n'Soda, Mobot, and decades-old CMU traditions. There will be tons of games, food, raffles, giveaways and free stuff! Learn more about this event.

Galentine's Day Hike

Love is in the air! On Monday, Feb. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m., head over to Frick Park for a Galentine's Day Hike. Celebrate this fun day that highlights the importance of friendship with a chance to get outdoors. Bring your best friend, your new friend, your gal pal, or anyone who you want to spend your Galentine's Day with – all genders and friendships are welcome! On Saturday, Feb. 11, from 3 to 5 p.m., check out The Tamburitzans newest show! This live stage production features music, song and dance from cultures around the world. This Pittsburgh classic brings Croatian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and more cultures to the stage with enthralling instruments, entrancing costumes and intricate dances.
