Alek Schrenk

Front Desk Manager

Alek is a Front Desk Manager for the Office of International Education. A native Pittsburgher, Alek holds a Bachelor of Art's in classics and a Master of Art's in philosophy from Duquesne University. He lived abroad in Rome for five years, where he completed graduate degrees at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Patristics Institute of the Pontifical Lateran University. Upon returning home, he spent several years serving in local church, high school and university settings before transitioning to a new career in higher education. Outside of work, Alek enjoys exploring local history, visiting new cafés and walking the city steps.
