Shannon O'Reilly
Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor
Shannon serves as a Foreign Student and Scholar Advisor in the Office of International Education (OIE). After serving as an Immigration Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh, Shannon is excited to return to Carnegie Mellon, where she previously completed a two-year internship with OIE.
Shannon is originally from Connecticut and earned her bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. After graduating, Shannon accepted a two-year internship in Berlin, Germany. During this time, she developed a passion for experiencing different cultures and decided to pursue a career in International Education.
Upon returning to the U.S., Shannon earned her master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
