Emily Moran
Study Abroad Advisor
Emily is a Study Abroad Advisor in OIE, where she advises students in Dietrich College, Mellon College of Science and the School of Computer Science. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Bard College and an Master of Arts in Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
Before joining OIE, Emily spent six years in Havana, Cuba, working with Academic Programs International (API). During this time, she served as Resident Director and specialized in the development and coordination of short-term academic programs. She also focused on fostering civic engagement opportunities and designing programs that brought students to lesser-visited parts of the island, encouraging deeper connections with local communities.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys cooking, kickboxing and seeking out new adventures, both near and far.
