Nick Hernandez
Senior Assistant Director, Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor
Previously a Document Manager in OIE, Nick Hernandez was promoted to Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor in August 2018, then to Assistant Director, Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor and currently serves as the Senior Assistant Director, Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor.
Nick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kent State University, and his Master of Science degree in Accounting from Kent State. Prior to his work at Carnegie Mellon, Nick served as a campus minister at Gannon University in Erie, PA, as well as an admissions counselor and academic advisor at Kent State.
Pittsburgh is Nick’s favorite city! One of his favorite aspects about Carnegie Mellon is meeting people from so many different cultures. When not in the office, Nick enjoys hiking, biking, taking care of his two dogs, and exploring local eateries.
