Erica Drayer
Foreign Student and Scholar Advisor
Erica Drayer serves as a Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor in OIE. She is originally from Florida and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Chinese Language & Culture as well as a TESOL certificate from the University of Florida. She also received her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University.
Prior to her work at Carnegie Mellon, Erica worked in admissions, international services, and programming at a variety of higher education institutions. She also completed a Fulbright grant where she taught English to elementary schoolers in Taiwan. Learning languages and multicultural friendships drive Erica’s passion for international education.
In her free time, Erica enjoys private karaoke, playing badminton, and playing board games with friends and family. She loves anywhere with water and exploring new cities, nature, and restaurants.
