Tynisha Brice
Front Desk Manager
Tynisha Brice is the Front Desk Manager, and is excited to join the OIE team and CMU community. Although Tynisha is a native New Yorker, she has been living in Pittsburgh for 3 years. She studied at St. John’s University where she received her B.A in Sociology with a Spanish minor, and recently obtained her M.A in Applied Linguistics with a TESOL certificate at the University of Pittsburgh. She has studied abroad in Argentina and Spain and after undergrad she completed a Fulbright grant to Brazil in which she taught English at a federal university.
Tynisha’s experiences both in the U.S and abroad have greatly shaped her interests in international education and she is excited to work in an environment that is committed to all of our international students and scholars. In her free time, she loves trying out new restaurants, travelling with friends and family and finding the best Zumba classes in Pittsburgh.
