Read her Q&A below.
Why did you join CMWA, and why should others join as well?
My mentor Joan Maser brought me to my first event and then I joined immediately after. I love the sense of the community and the people I met that first event. I highly recommend joining if you are new to CMU. Joining helped me meet colleagues across campus and build connections.
CMWA is a great community that has diverse members. By joining CMWA, you can grow professionally and personally. I have learned so much from the members in our organization in my short time at CMU.
What’s your favorite CMWA activity or memory?
My favorite memories are connecting with members at in-person events. Virtual events have been great, but I miss seeing everyone in person and building those deeper connections.
Can you tell us about your role here at CMU and your professional background?
I'm a Sr. Financial Administator for Athletics. I enjoy being in a department where we stive to create the best experience for student-athletes. I enjoy being able to find ways to optimize our resources to make that mission possible.
Before coming to CMU, I worked for Dick’s Sporting Goods Corporate office. Two years in a Financial Training Program and two years in Internal Audit.
