I study biological treatment of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system wastewater. My research goal is to enrich, identify, and characterize microbial life in FGD wastewater that can utilize soluble selenium species and transform into elemental selenium.
I study fundamental nanoparticle-plant interactions to develop more efficient agrochemical delivery systems. I also work on emerging nano-enabled agricultural technologies' risk communication and policy aspects.
My research focuses on optimizing environmental sampling and characterizing environmental contaminants (like TPH, heavy metal) with modern sensors, AI approaches, and automated robotic platforms.
My research focused on using Stat Mech tools (Molecular Dynamics) and density functional theory to understand the import properties of polymer materials. I am also interested in high-performance computing and machine learning (Bayesian Optimization).
My research focuses on civil infrastructure systems' safe operation. I am interested in adopting computational simulations to predict and manage human-machine interactions in civil infrastructure monitoring processes.
