Virtual Platform & What is Included:
The CMU CPDC is excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format.

Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our virtual event, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:

  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
  • By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time

Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. To learn more about these features check out this virtual fair training webinar recording, which was hosted by Handshake.

Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
TBD

Cancellations: Cancellations must be emailed to Employer Relations at erelate@andrew.cmu.edu a week prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellation requests made 5 days prior to the fair or later will not receive a refund.

No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are not eligible for transfers or refunds. No-shows forfeit their registration fee and are not able to roll the registration fee to another event. No-Shows with unpaid registrations will be required to pay the fees in full.

Virtual Interviews on TBD are for students you have met at the Intelligence & Government Virtual Career Expo. The CPDC Interview Center offers a private, quiet room for those students who are physically on campus that you wish to interview.

Please indicate within the Handshake registration if you would like to learn more about this process.
