Carnegie Mellon University’s Career & Professional Development Center & The College of Engineering invite you to attend the Engineering Virtual Career Fair. This is a great opportunity to engage with CMU students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees from the following departments and programs: Biomedical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy, Science, Technology & Policy, Integrated Innovation for Products & Services, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Materials Science & Engineering.
We will use the Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform for the event.
Registration is NOW OPEN in Handshake! Online registrations will be taken until the date listed below. Once online registration has closed, please email Janet Vojtash at firstname.lastname@example.org and registrations will be taken if room is available.

Virtual Platform & What is Included:
The CMU CPDC is excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format.
Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our virtual event, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:
- Video, audio, and chat communication with students
- Group meetings with up to fifty students
- 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
- By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time
Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
Friday, March 4th at 12 p.m. ET
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to Janet Vojtash at email@example.com on or before March 14, 2022, for a full refund. Cancellation requests after March 14 for event registration. All unpaid registration fees are due upon cancellation.
No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are responsible for their entire registration fee and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event. To avoid being considered a no-show, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and cancel no later than March 14, 2022. All unpaid registration fees are due immediately.
