This exciting career fair will bring together arts, business, computer science, engineering, humanities, and science students in one location. Employers from all industries looking to fill numerous and varied roles are encouraged to attend EncompassCMU. It is truly a career fair for everyone!

Registration will open in November 2019 in Handshake.  Online registrations will be taken until the dates listed below.  Once online registration has closed, please email Janet Vojtash at vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu and registrations will be taken if room is available.

EncompassCMU Registration Fee:
$950 through January 21
$1000 January 22 – January 28
$475 through January 21 for organizations with less than 100 employees
$500 January 22 – January 28 for organizations with less than 100 employees

What is Included:
One 6' skirted table in an 8' x 8' event space, two chairs, pipe-and-drape, electrical outlet, wireless internet connection, up to four (4) representatives per event space, catered lunch for each registered representative, and one parking access code per company.

EncompassCMU Goes Green
The CPDC is dedicated to the University wide Scotty Goes Green initiative. As part of this effort, we ask that all EncompassCMU employers limit giveaways to those items that are practical and usable.  These might include: candy, chapsticks, hand sanitizer, notebooks, pens, USB sticks.

Company Displays/Banners
Company display/banner dimensions for EncompassCMU cannot exceed 8’ high x 6’ wide.  Contact Janet Vojtash if your display/banner exceeds these requirements.  Although not guaranteed, every effort will be made for those employers who have displays/banners that go beyond the stated dimensions.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be emailed to Janet Vojtash at vojtash@andrew.cmu.edu on or before January 21, 2020 for a full refund. Cancellation requests after January 21 for event registration, additional representative fees, and/or interview table(s) will not be refunded under any circumstances.

No-Show Policy
If you register, but do not attend the event, you are not entitled to transfers or refunds at any time. No-shows forfeit their entire registration fee and materials, and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event.

If you wish to interview students you meet at EncompassCMU, interview space is available. Please indicate this within your EncompassCMU registration.  CPDC Career Partners will be given preference to CPDC interview rooms. For your convenience, we've gathered a list of nearby area accommodations. Some offer discount rates to Carnegie Mellon visitors and free shuttle service to campus for your convenience. Not sure about locations? Check out our online campus map. The hotels closest to campus will be in Shadyside, East End and Oakland.

Hotels with an asterisk (*) indicate that Carnegie Mellon should have an annual contract in place for special pricing, group rates, shuttle services, etc. Unique terms and conditions may apply, please check with the hotel directly upon booking.

We will reserve one parking space per company in the East Campus Garage for the day of EncompassCMU. A parking access code will be emailed prior to the event. 

This code is also required to exit the garage and is only good for one entry and one exit.
