Encompass Hybrid Career & Networking Event (Spring 2023)
Day 1: Tuesday, January 31st (IN-PERSON) from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET
Day 2: Thursday, February 2nd (VIRTUAL) from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET

Encompass will have a hybrid offering. If you'd like to attend either event, there are two separate registrations in Handshake.

The Encompass Hybrid Career Fair will bring together arts, business, computer science, engineering, humanities, and science students to discuss all types of opportunities. Employers from all industries looking to fill numerous and varied roles (internship & full-time) with world-class diverse CMU talent are encouraged to attend encompass.

Included in Your Registration:
Encompass employers will have the
 opportunity to register for jumpstart! Preceding the In-Person Encompass Career & Networking Event, jumpstart is a special three-hour early engagement event that allows employers to connect with freshman and sophomores to discuss internships available at your company. 

jumpstart will be held on January 30th at NO ADDITIONAL COST.

Note:
Employers do not need to register for Encompass to attend jumpstart. Please visit jumpstart on Handshake if you are only interested in attending jumpstart.

Register in Handshake beginning November 15th at noon ET!  Online registrations will be taken until the date listed below.  Once online registration has closed, please email erelate@andrew.cmu.edu and registrations will be taken if room is available.

Encompass Registration Fee:
Registration for both events will open in Handshake on November 14th.

$950 - IN-PERSON Encompass - Day 1, January 31st
$750 - VIRTUAL Encompass - Day 2, February 2nd  

Past career fair registration fees must be paid in full prior to current registration approval.

Registration Deadline:
Day 1 (IN-PERSON) - January 24th
Day 2 (VIRTUAL) - January 26th

Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
Day 1 (IN-PERSON) - January 17th
Day 2 (VIRTUAL) - January 18th

Virtual Encompass Registration includes:

  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • 1:1 student meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to Employer Relations at erelate@andrew.cmu.edu a week prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellation requests made 5 days prior to the fair or later will not receive a refund. 

No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are not eligible for transfers or refunds. No-shows forfeit their registration fee and are not able to roll the registration fee to another event. No-Shows with unpaid registrations will be required to pay the fees in full.
