Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform

The Software & Data Opportunities Virtual Career Fair primarily for undergraduate and graduate students with skills in Software Engineering, Software Design, Data & Data Science, Math, Statistics, and Analytics. These students come from many programs across the University such as Data Science & Statistics, Mathematical Sciences, Business, Computer Science, Electrical and Engineering Engineering and more. This is a great opportunity to recruit these talented students for internship and full-time opportunities. Employers interested in recruiting for these students are encouraged to join.

We will use the Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform for the event.

Software & Data Opportunities Virtual Career Fair Registration Fee:

Virtual Platform and what is included:
The CMU CPDC is excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format. 

Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our virtual event, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:

  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
  • By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time

Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
February 9th 

Cancellations: Cancellations must be emailed to Employer Relations at erelate@andrew.cmu.edu a week prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellation requests made 5 days prior to the fair or later will not receive a refund. 

No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are not eligible for transfers or refunds. No-shows forfeit their registration fee and are not able to roll the registration fee to another event. No-Shows with unpaid registrations will be required to pay the fees in full.
