Highmark Center for Health, Wellness & Athletics
The new state-of-the-art Highmark Center for Health, Wellness and Athletics will unify robust services, contemporary facilities and educational programs that support students’ minds, bodies and spirits in a comprehensive care model. With new full-service clinical areas as an expanded University Health Services; private and supportive spaces for Counseling and Psychological Services; and a modern athletics facility for practice, performance, training and athlete care.
Here, students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and access to resources that will help them establish the foundation for a lifetime of physical, spiritual and emotional health.
New Gym Space
- New home for volleyball, men's and women's basketball
- Seating for 1,000
- Top-loaded bleachers
- Two regulation courts for varsity practice and recreation
- Use of technology throughout facility
Multipurpose Athletics Court (MAC Gym)
- Regulation court for volleyball competition and varsity practices
- Allows for practices during moratorium

University Health Services

- Enlarged space for Health Promotion team and Peer Health Advocate program

- Located on fourth floor, alongside garden and shares health lobby with Health Promotion
- Waiting area, twp check-in rooms, 15 counseling rooms, a group room, and five administrative offices
- Will house all front facing CaPS teams, non-clinical activities (classes, workshops, etc.) and psychiatry.
Religious & Spiritual Life Initiatives
- Prayer room for all faith backgrounds
- Ablution stations
- Office spaces for religious and spiritual life initiatives coordinator and Council of Religious Advisors office space
- Allows for activities such as small group meetings, 1:1 pastoral care/prayer meetings, small group worship experiences, student organization gatherings
