The Highmark Center for Health, Wellness and Athletics at CMU is a destination that offers a holistic approach to well-being through robust services and educational programs supporting body, mind and spirit. With new full-service clinical areas as an expanded University Health Services; private and supportive spaces for Counseling and Psychological Services; and a modern athletics facility for practice, performance, training and athlete care, students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and access to resources that will help them establish the foundation for a lifetime of physical, spiritual and emotional health.

- Access comprehensive university healthcare and counseling services in new and expanded facilities
- Meet up with teammates for practice with more space available to optimize practice times
- Attend health and wellness workshops on topics like sleep and healthy eating
- Learn about mindfulness and how it will help them achieve balance

Counseling & Psychological Services (CaPS)
- Located on fourth floor, alongside garden and shares health lobby with Health Promotion
- Waiting area, 15 counseling rooms, a group room, and five administrative offices

This CaPS location focuses on first-time appointments, crisis appointments and psychiatry.
University Health Services
- Separate waiting areas for "sick" and "well"
- Increased number of exam rooms and negative pressure treatment rooms
- Separated clinical and administrative areas and dedicated offices for dietician, travel nurse services, and phlebotomist
- Medication dispensary
- Enlarged space for Health Promotion team and Peer Health Advocate program
