CMRA brings AI to Monmouth County Schools

August 23, 2025 - Tinton Falls, NJ - 20 minutes from the New Jersey shore lies a school district called Monmouth County Public Schools. For years, Monmouth had been running robotics and STEM courses. This year, Monmouth wanted to add some concepts using AI. Luckily, we at CMRA created AI courses like Applied AI and Robotics which uses the Jetson Nano (on a JetBot platform) to teach machine vision behaviors like object detection, collision avoidance, and path following.
Our team spent 3 days in Tinton Falls to go through the Applied AI & Robotics (AAIR) course that uses the JetBot Pro AI kit. The course takes learners through concepts such as understanding networking and basic autonomy, to going into AI concepts like machine vision and supervised learning.
