Tartan2 Professional: Student-Athlete & Employer Networking Event
Monday, Sept. 14, 7:30 to 9 p.m., Legacy Plaza
This unique event outside at Legacy Plaza allows you to converse with leading companies that are looking to leverage your athletic experience and skill set! Light refreshments will be served.
As you prepare for this event, we will be utilizing a new tool in Handshake. At each employer table, there will be a QR code that you can use to “check in”. In order to “check in” with an employer, you will need to log into your Handshake account from the webpage. To ensure that an employer can contact you after the fair, make sure you have filled out all of the fields on your profile. Employers can only see limited information if the account is not public.

CMU SPARK 2026: Startups & Emerging Companies Job Fair
Thursday, Sept. 17, 5 to 9 p.m., McConomy Auditorium & Rangos Ballroom, CUC
Join us for CMU SPARK 2026, a high-energy evening connecting Carnegie Mellon students with startups and emerging companies hiring across technology, design, product, and business.
The evening opens with a keynote from Boris Sofman, co-founder and CEO of Bedrock Robotics and former leader at Waymo and Anki. Boris will share lessons from building ambitious robotics and autonomy companies and offer students a firsthand look at what it takes to create and scale frontier technology.
Following the keynote, startups founded by CMU alumni will take the stage for rapid-fire tech talks about what they are building and the roles they are hiring for. The evening concludes with a career fair where students can meet founders, executives, and hiring teams directly.

CMU Swartz Student Startup Showcase (S4)
Friday, Sept. 18, noon to 2 p.m., Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, Tepper Building, Suite 3712
CMU Swartz Student Startup Showcase (CMU S4) is an interactive exhibition event showcasing what’s coming next from CMU student-founded startups as a part of CMU Startup Week.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with the founders and learn about the incredible innovations they are building and critical problems that they are solving.
Over two dozen different companies will be presenting at this event, including companies funded through the Bruce S. Gebhardt Sandbox Fund, Beyond 2% Fund, and the Project Olympus Spark Grants.
Snacks and drinks will be provided for attendees.
This event is open to everyone!
