ChemDraw
Note: All the features of ChemBioDraw are now part of ChemDraw Pro
Installation Instructions:
- To get ChemDraw, click here and search for Carnegie Mellon University. Once you've done that, hit Register under Register to download the latest version of ChemDraw.
2. You will now be prompted to log in or create an account. If you do not have an account on this website associated with your Andrew id, click Submit and fill out this form. Be sure to use your Andrew email.
3. Click the Sign Up tab and use your Andrew email and your choice of password to complete the sign up process. We highly recommend using your AndrewId password.
4. In the List Entitlements section, find the ChemDraw Product with the closest Start Date. Hit Download Now.
5. Select ChemDraw Professional under the Download Package. Take note of your activation code.
6. Select the installer that matches your device.
7. Extract the file path following the package installation.
8. Fill out the information as follows. Use the activation code from step 5. Select Activate.
9. Make sure you see the following screen before you proceed.
10. Click Next.
11. Read the terms of agreement and select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next.
12. Select Default. Click Next.
13. Check the following boxes. Click Next.
14. Check the following boxes. Click Next.
15. Click Install.
