AACE Honors CEE Alumnus Daniel P. Gilmour with Award for 16 Years of Excellence in Construction

Alumnus Daniel P. Gilmour (CivE ‘07), a seasoned professional with 16 years of construction industry experience, has earned the prestigious O. T. Zimmerman Founder's Award from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) for his remarkable contributions.

Gilmour has effectively managed construction projects valued at nearly five billion dollars. As the Director of Planning and Scheduling for the East Group at Brasfield & Gorrie, he plays a pivotal role in crafting, overseeing, and analyzing CPM schedules for diverse projects.

His extensive experience also encompasses time impact analysis report preparation and providing crucial support for resolving time-related construction disputes. His project portfolio spans various sectors: education, sports complexes, industrial facilities, highways, airports, subway/rail systems, residential and commercial buildings, and high-end retail.

The O. T. Zimmerman Founder's Award was established by the AACE International Board of Directors in 1995. This prestigious award is presented to AACE members who have demonstrated at least ten years of active involvement in AACE activities and have made significant continuous contributions to the advancement of total cost management and AACE International's policies, practices, and procedures.
