Peer Connect What is Peer Connect? Peer Connect is a NEW meetup group for CMU students and alumni to connect, share insights, and support each other’s professional growth. Each session explores different career-related topics and is tailored to participants' interests. Designed with a strengths-based approach, the space values all neurotypes and welcomes all communication styles, learning preferences, and backgrounds. Participants will learn applicable strategies they can use right away, and each session contributes to a growing collection of shared tools and approaches, compiled into a professional growth "toolkit" available to all participants. Open to anyone looking to grow their network and develop their career in an inclusive, low-pressure environment. Group 1: Staying Motivated & Organized with Your Professional Goals - VIRTUAL This group will explore the real-life challenges that make it hard to stay motivated and organized. We'll discuss common barriers, share strategies that work, and begin building a shared "toolbox" of tips with strategies discussed during the group. We'll also co-create playlists (focus/flow, staying calm, energize) to help set the tone while working on your goals. Open to all communication styles and work rhythms. There will be large group discussions and breakout rooms to help build connections. When: June 3rd, 7pm ET Register: https://cmu.zoom.us/meeting/register/N0P4INYmScmM7Pi9WSunEA |
