International Opportunities Fair & Networking Event

The International Opportunities Fair & Networking Event is for employers who have locations or employment opportunities available outside of the United States, and for the Carnegie Mellon University international student population. Many of these students are looking to start their careers or build relationships with companies who are within their home countries, and we invite all interested employers to participate. 

We will use the Handshake Virtual Career Fair Platform for this event.

Registration is NOW OPEN in Handshake!  Online registrations will be taken until the date listed below.  Once online registration has closed, please email Janet Vojtash at and registrations will be taken if room is available.

Virtual Platform & What is Included:
The CMU CPDC is excited to partner with Handshake to run career fairs in a virtual format. 

Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. At our virtual event, you’ll be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including:

  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Group meetings with up to fifty students
  • 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
  • By sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time

Note: During registration, you’ll be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—up to 100 representatives per employer are able to participate in the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students later this summer. Student Registration & Session Signup Starts:
Tuesday, February 8th at 12 p.m. ET

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations must be emailed to Janet Vojtash at on or before February 16, 2022, for a full refund. Cancellation requests after February 16th will not be refunded. All unpaid registration fees are due upon cancellation.

No-Show Policy: Career Fair "no-shows" are responsible for their entire registration fee and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event. To avoid being considered a no-show, please email and cancel no later than February 16, 2022. All unpaid registration fees are due immediately.

Virtual Interviews on February 23rd are for students you have met at the International Opportunities Fair & Networking Event on February 22nd. The CPDC Interview Center offers a private, quiet room for those students who are physically on campus that you wish to interview.
