Judy van Rheenen
Associate Director, Foreign Student & Scholar Advisor
Judy serves as the Associate Director, Foreign Student and Scholar Advisor in OIE. A native of Rochester, NY, Judy has lived most of her life in Pennsylvania. Judy studied at Gannon University in Erie, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages (French and Spanish) and International Business. After serving many years in the corporate realm, Judy returned to Erie to begin a career in higher education. After working in various capacities at Gannon University, including the Director of the International Student Office, she moved to Pittsburgh to become a member of the OIE team.
Judy loves spending time with her family and is fond of all things Dutch. She enjoys traveling and meeting students and scholars from around the world.
