OpenSimon Content

Teachers and researchers can incorporate free OpenSimon content to current lesson plans or utilize a full OpenSimon module.

We can help you determine what available content is right for you. Contact us for inquiries related to content, strategies for using it or if you have a specific need that you don’t see listed.

Available content ranges from expository text with embedded interactive activities and quizzes from OLI, cognitive tutors developed with CTAT technology, chemistry virtual labs to interactive content aimed at K-12 students in math, reading and the two combined.

We also offer a range of tools you can integrate to supplement, inform and interact with students.  The DANCE collective contains an architecture for orchestrating conversational agent-based support for group learning, a discussion forum for improving scripted support for collaboration in massive open online courses (MOOCs) and a chat bot with predictive technology to support help seekers in MOOC discussion forums.
