Transcript Requests & Verification

The INI receives many requests and questions from current students and alumni about obtaining transcripts and/or verifications as part of the employment application process, H1B application process, and other situations. 

The INI cannot provide your official transcript. It must be issued by The Hub.

Current students may request an unofficial transcript/academic record through Student Information Online.

The INI cannot provide these verifications. They must be issued by The Registrar's Office.

The INI can provide this information; however, we can only verify the skills acquired as a student in the program.

The verifiable program learning outcomes are referenced on the academic degree program's homepage: MSIT, MSIN, MSIS and Kobe MSIT-IS.

The INI cannot and will not endorse a letter verifying the skills you acquired in your program that was prepared by you and/or a lawyer.

The INI can provide this information; however, we can only verify the skills acquired from course content required of all students in the course.

The INI cannot and will not endorse a letter verifying the skills you acquired in a class that was prepared by you and/or a lawyer.


You must identify which class(es) and the associated skill(s) for each class that you want to be verified.

Verifications from The HUB/Registrar's Office:

  • can verify enrollment dates, courses completed, grades received and graduation date.

Verifications from the INI:

  • can only verify the skills acquired in the program.
  • cannot include enrollment dates, courses completed, and graduation date.
  • cannot and will not endorse a letter verifying the skills you acquired in your program that was prepared by you and/or a lawyer.
  • can only verify skills acquired in class(es) via course content.
  • cannot include grades received.
  • cannot verify skills acquired through specific course projects.
