Pittsburgh Summer Internship Program
Information for Host Sites
Partnering businesses and organizations play an essential role in the success of the program and in the strengthening of our Pittsburgh community.
We value our host sites' commitment to providing students with meaningful work and purposeful mentorship throughout the experience. Interested organizations are encouraged to reach out to learn more about the goals and benefits of the Pittsburgh Summer Internship Program (PSIP), as well as expectations for host sites and interns.
Participating organizations host a maximum of two interns who complete 175-200 hours of work and receive a $3,300 stipend, provided by the Dietrich College Pittsburgh Summer Internship Program Fund.
All participating organizations pay a program fee per selected intern, based on annual revenue.
- Revenue less than $500,000: $250 per intern
- Revenue between $500,000 and $1,000,000: $500 per intern
- Revenue greater than $1,000,000: $750 per intern
Applications to host an intern in summer 2025 have closed, but we are always happy to connect and collaborate with new organizations.
