Bio

Desirée began her career at CMU in October 2006 as part of Computing Services. In 2014 she transferred to the Graduate Education Office where she remained until she joined the Student Academic Success Center in November 2021.

Desirée is actively involved in CMU Staff Council, chairing the Kennywood and Entertainment Perks & Discounts Committee, a member of the Food Drive Committee and an organizer of the University Blood Drives.

When not at CMU, Desirée can be found playing games with her family, reading, watching movies, gardening and volunteering with her local library and gardening clubs. Desirée lives just 40 minutes north of the city with her husband Brian and their two dogs Milo & Coco. Desirée's family recently grew by one when her daughter Brayanna got married to her husband Devin.
