Robotics Training and Competition Study

Thank you for your interest in the Robotics Training and Competition study, sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and conducted by Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy. This study aims to investigate Robotics Systems training designs aligned with Robotics Systems Specialist (RSS) roles in the US Navy. As a reminder, your participation in this study is voluntary, and the results will be used for research purposes.

Eligibility Criteria: To participate in this study, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have basic aptitudes appropriate for certain career paths in the Navy, as determined by the screening test linked below.

Screening: Due to limited cohort space, there is a required screening test. Please take the short (<30 minute) assessment below. This test is available until April 30, 2024.

Selected applicants will be contacted through the e-mail address they provided starting May 1, 2024. Additional invitations will be extended if space becomes available.
