This program teaches early- to mid-career computer science professionals how to harness the power of large-scale data systems with AI and machine learning technology. Through rigorous coursework in Python, machine learning and computational data science, students gain the skills to design algorithms, analyze massive data sets and apply intelligent systems across industries.
- For students with a bachelor’s degree who want to learn how to build machine learning models and analyze trends
- Successful students will have a strong academic background in advanced math and proficiency in Python, R or another coding language

M.S. in Computational Data Science (On-Campus)
This program focuses on engineering and deploying large-scale information systems and includes concentrations in Systems, Analytics, and Human-Centered Data Science. Through coursework, seminars, a capstone project and a summer internship, you’ll gain the skills to build massive next-generation information systems and analyze the data they produce.
- For students with a bachelor’s degree who want to pursue a job in corporate research or development laboratories
- Successful students will have basic analytic skills and a strong aptitude for mathematics, programming and logical reasoning
