Teaching Assistant Academic Integrity

Any TA who suspects cheating or plagiarism by students is required to discuss it with the course instructor.

While you will be notifying the course instructor of any suspicions of cheating, you will not be responsible for reporting this to the University. Since the faculty member is ultimately responsible for student grades, they are also responsible for initiating action concerning violations of standards of academic honesty.
