Genomics & Genetics

Genomics & Genetics research focuses on building statistical and computational models for multi-omic data, such as the genome, proteome, transcriptome and epigenome. By studying these various sources of data, we aim discover complex associations between biological entities and ultimately understand the genetic etiology of neuropsychiatric disorders such as autism and schizophrenia. We are especially interested in characterizing the workings of cells, especially in the brain, using data generated from single-cell omics studies, and to translate these findings to clinical purposes.
