Teaching assistants (TAs) are an integral part of undergraduate and graduate classes in our department.

In this role, you will assist the faculty in the instruction and evaluation of students. The support from our undergraduate and graduate TAs contributes to the support structure for students in our classes, and allows the course to operate smoothly and efficiently.

As part of your TA onboarding, you will have gone through a departmental TA training, and this handbook is designed to be a reference for some of the information regarding policies you will need to be aware of to be a successful TA in our department.
