Nicole Perrotta

Accessibility Specialist, Office of Disability Resources

Bio

Nicole joined the Office of Disability Resources in March 2025. They hold a BS in Applied Developmental Psychology and a M.Ed. in Instruction and Learning, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, Nicole worked as a special education teacher in learning support, emotional support, and school-based partial behavioral support settings in schools in the Pittsburgh area. Before joining the Disability Resources team, they were an administrative coordinator for CMU’s Language Technologies Institute. Nicole is a passionate advocate for disability justice and access to education, and is excited to be able to continue supporting students with disabilities.

Outside of CMU, Nicole enjoys walking in nature, reading, and spending time with their two cats.
