Bio

I am an instructor in the Department of Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University. Teaching is in my blood as both of my parents were teachers. Even in elementary school, I delighted in explaining science to my friends, and I was selected by my teachers to tutor the other students. During and after high school, I worked as a paid tutor in math and science; and in undergrad, I taught introductory mathematics classes. My interests included math and science, so statistics is a natural fit for me; and the vibrant, active, and uniquely interdisciplinary atmosphere of Carnegie Mellon is endlessly challenging and stimulating.

Recognitions include: Invited Panelist, Academic Integrity Orientation for College Freshmen, Carnegie Mellon University Dietrich College, Fall 2012 and 2013; and CMU Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council Award for Serving as Mentor, Leader, and Role Model, Spring 2012.
