Phi Beta Kappa Inducts 8 Students of Modern Languages

Carnegie Mellon University’s chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society (PBK) has initiated 20 students, 8 of which are associated with the Department of Modern Languages at Dietrich College. 

Phi Beta Kappa is a highly renowned honor society that acknowledges academic excellence in the fields of free thought, liberal arts, and sciences. To be eligible for membership, applicants must have at least intermediate knowledge of a second or non-native language along with other contingent requirements.

The Department of Modern Languages extends a warm congratulations to the following Modern Languages majors and minors:
