Block Center for Technology and Society

Leveraging technological innovation and public policy for social good.

AI, robotics, machine learning and advanced manufacturing have profoundly impacted our society, economy and daily lives.

New platforms are constantly reshaping how we view and engage with our world, often in powerful, unseen (and unforeseen) ways. We seek to support responsible, inclusive technology that serves the common good.

The Block Center drives relevant, actionable research to achieve broad, equitable impact.
